Happy 4th of July, y'all!

I've been invited to a 4th of July BBQ by my American neighbour so have spent today getting into the Americana mood.  The flag is outside, the bunting is up and I thought I'd make dessert!  My flag cake will hopefully hit the nail on the head! It's a vanilla sponge with mascarpone cream smothering it then covered in blueberries and raspberries.  Eat, drink and be merry folks!
